As someone who has ADHD, I always love to see more neurodivergent representation in literature, so I was really excited to read and review Malik has ADHD.

This book is incredibly informative and would be a wonderful addition to a clinical setting when introducing ADHD to kids and their support systems. Having a resource like this available to review when adapting to a new diagnosis would make for a more accessible and less daunting experience.

My only concern is that some of the language used throughout the book might make this a bit of a difficult read for younger kids. Having a simpler version available to meet these kids where they are at, so they can see representation of those around them, or maybe even themselves, accessible for them to pick up in a classroom or library setting, would be a perfect companion to this book.

All in all, this is a very informative and helpful read that I would recommend to anyone trying to learn a bit more about ADHD in kids.
